A giant for the giants.
The only 26 mm chain available in the market. Since their inception into the market in the early 1990s the size of giant wheel loaders has not increased – but over time, with advancements in
technology, the power of these massive machines has grown. As the power of this equipment surges the result is greater wear upon the chain. As such, research and development have designed this shape of chain to rise wear volume which then extends the life of the chain. Additionally, as the importance of soil protection is playing a very important rule, this chain shape will place less pressure upon the soil. This chain is best suited for equipment with 57-inch tyres working in very abrasive conditions.

Operational safety is fundamental in every mine operation, particularly during winter season. Traction chains are an essential tool to help operators maintain control of their equipment.
Erlau field engineers in cooperation with end users have come to this design allowing it to bite the ground as no other chain has done before. This is the optimal chain to work on ice and deep-frozen undergrounds assuring the best traction on all equipment and preventing slip.
POLYFLEX.
POLYFLEX is an innovative tyre protection chain concept consisting of cast parts connected by forged links. The advantage of the diamond-shaped cast parts is that they can be fitted with wear-resistant inserts for abrasive surfaces, traction inserts for mud and snow or wear-resistant rubber inserts to protect roads and concrete floors.
POLYFLEX is the ideal track for recycling applications such as slag and scrap recycling or landfill sites and is available for tyre sizes from 20.5-25 to 35/65-33.
EASY-R-LOCK®
Installation of a tyre protection chain requires a set of special rings to ‘stitch’ the two ends together. Closing these rings involves pins and hammers and the risk of flying metal fragments, squashed
thumbs and bad language. If the pins become corroded, removing the rings requires flame-cutting – a dangerous operation next to tyres. To save time and money and increase safety, ERLAU, the world-leading Tyre Protection Chain brand, has introduced EASY-R-LOCK® - a connecting ring that can be fitted and removed quickly and easily. EASY-R-LOCK® comprises of an open ring and a locking hasp. Once the ring is passed through the wear links, the hasp is pushed over the two prongs and secured by a 90 degree turn of the integral locking device with an Allen key.
EASY-R-LOCK® then remains in place until removed in the same simple procedure.
